What is Hemorrhoidal (rectal)?

Hemorrhoids shrink blood vessels. Hemorrhoids can be caused by dilated blood vessels.Hemorrhoidal can be used to treat hemorrhoids that cause itching and irritation.Hemorrhoidal can also be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Hemorrhoidal (rectal)

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Hemorrhoids may cause serious side effects. Hemorrhoidal should be stopped immediately, and you should consult your doctor if:

  • Rectal bleeding
  • Severe irritation in or around the rectum
  • Increased blood pressure; severe headache; blurry vision; pounding in the neck or ears; anxiety. Nosebleed.

Before you take this drug

Hemorrhoidal is not recommended if you have an allergy to it. Hemorrhoidal is often used in cold and allergy medications.

If you suffer from:

  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Urination or prostate problems;
  • Diabetes
  • A thyroid disorder.

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.Ask a doctor for advice before giving this medicine to children younger than two years of age.

How to take Hemorrhoidal (rectal)?

Follow the directions provided on the label or from your healthcare provider.Hemorrhoidal can be used up to four times per day, preferably after a bowel motion.Please read and carefully follow all instructions that accompany your medication. If you don't understand, seek advice from either your physician or pharmacist.You should not apply hemorrhoidal cream or gel to your rectum. These phenylephrine rectal products are only to be used on the area just outside and around your rectum.The only thing that should be put into the rectum is the rectal suppository.If your symptoms don't improve within 7 days or worsen, call your doctor.Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

You are unlikely to miss a dosage of hemorrhoidal rectal, as it is only used when needed. Hemorrhoidal should not be used more than four times per day.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 immediately if you suspect being exposed to poisonous substances, or seek immediate medical assistance.

What should be avoided?

Hemorrhoidal rectal suppository should not be taken orally. This product is only for use in the rectum.Before using any over-the-counter medicines that contain similar ingredients to Hemorrhoidal, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Interaction with other drug

Before using hemorrhoidal in conjunction with other medications, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

  • Blood pressure medication
  • An MAO inhibitor—isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and others.
