What is Fluocinolone and neomycin topical?
Fluocinolone is a steroid medicine. Neomycin belongs to the family of antibiotics. The combination drug Fluocinolone and Neomycin Topical (for skin) treats inflammation and itch due to skin conditions that respond to steroid medications. Side effects of Fluocinolone and neomycin topical
If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.
Side effects from neomycin and fluocinolone topical can be serious. If you experience:
- Hearing issues and ringing sounds in the ears.
- No urination and worsening skin conditions
- Redness, heat, swelling and severe irritation on any area of skin need treatment;
- High sugar levels; increased thirst; an increase in urine production; dry mouth with fruity breath aroma are some of the characteristics associated with an imbalanced sugar system.
- Possible signs of absorption of fluocinolone topical and neomycin through your skin include weight gain (especially on your face, upper back, and torso), slow healing wounds, discolored or thinning skin, muscle weakness, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Fluocinolone topical and neomycin may cause the following side effects:
- Burning, itching or irritation to treated skin
- Increased hair growth
- White or "pruned", appearance of the skin
- Rash, pimples;
- Changes in the color of treated skin

Before you take this drug
If you have an allergy to either fluocinolone or neomycin, then you should avoid using the topical fluocinolone.

Tell your doctor about any of the following:
- Any type of skin infection
- A skin reaction to any medicine containing steroids;
- Liver disease
- An adrenal gland disorder is a condition that affects the adrenal gland.
Steroids may lead to elevated glucose levels in both the blood and urine. INotify your doctor immediately if you are expecting or planning to become pregnant. This medicine should not harm an unborn baby in any way, and you should inform your healthcare provider if you become pregnant during treatment or plan to become pregnant in the near future. Breastfeeding may not be possible while taking this medication. You should ask your doctor if there are any risks. Avoid areas where the mouth of your baby may be in contact with fluocinolone or neomycin if you apply these drugs to your chest. Do not administer this medicine without consulting a doctor. This medicine can cause side effects in children because they absorb more through their skin.
How to take fluocinolone and neomycin topical ?
Read and follow all instructions or guides included with your medication, such as those found on its label. Consume only oral medicines; topical applications should only be applied topically. Please read and follow all instructions that accompany your medication, if you don't understand them please ask your physician or pharmacist for clarification. Use Fluocinolone or Neomycin only on your skin for treatment purposes and then wash your hands thoroughly afterwards. Apply a thin layer of medicine only on the affected area, unless instructed otherwise by your physician. Cover the treated area only upon the advice of your physician, since covering can increase how much medicine penetrates your skin and result in adverse side effects. If you are treating the diaper area, only use loose-fitting plastic diapers for treatments. If your symptoms don't improve within two weeks, seek medical advice immediately. Do not discontinue taking Fluocinolone or Neomycin abruptly without first consulting with your healthcare provider to decrease your dosage gradually. Instead, follow their recommendations regarding dose reduction. Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature, away from moisture or heat.
What happens if I miss the dose?
If it is near time for your next dose, skip any missed one altogether and never administer two doses at the same time.

Fluocinolone or neomycin topical in high doses can cause thinning of the skin, easy bleeding, changes in body weight (especially on your neck, face, and back), acne, facial hair growth, menstrual issues, impotence, or loss of interest.
What should be avoided?
Do not apply topical fluocinolone or neomycin to the face, underarms, or groin. Use fluocinolone topical only after consulting your doctor to diagnose any skin conditions.
Interaction with other drug
Other medications you take are unlikely to interfere with the medicine applied directly to your skin.Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare provider about the medicines you take, including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
