What is Flonase Sensimist?
Flonase Sensimist (for the nose) is a steroid medication that treats nose congestion, sneezing, congestionwatery eyes, or itchy eyes caused by seasonal or all-year-round allergies. The Xhance label that is part of Flonase Sensimist is for use only by adults. Veramyst is a possibility for children as young as 2 years old. Flonase can be used by children and adults who are at least 4 years older. Flonase Sensimist can also be used to treat conditions not covered in this medication guide.
Side effects of Flonase Sensimist
Contact emergency medical assistance. If you are experiencing symptoms that indicate an allergy, such as hives, rash, feeling lightheaded, difficulty breathing, and swelling of your lips, face, tongue, throat, or face,
Flonase sensitivity may cause serious side effects. Contact your physician immediately if you experience:
- Chronic or persistent nosebleeds
- Loud breathing, nasal congestion, or crusting around your nostrils
- Redness, sores, or white patches that appear in your throat or mouth
- Chills, fever, and body aches
- Eyestrain, painful vision, or seeing halos in light sources;
- Any wound that does not heal;
- Symptoms of a hormonal disorder: worsening fatigue or muscle weakness nausea, lightheadedness, and vomiting.
Steroid medicines can cause problems with the growth of children. Inform your doctor if your child's growth isn't at a normal pace while taking this medication.
Common adverse consequences associated with flonase sensimist may include:
- Minor nosebleeds, burning, or an itching inside your nose.
- Spots of white or red sores inside the nose.
- Trouble breathing, cough;
- Headache, back pain;
- Sinus pains, sore throat, and fever
- Nausea, vomiting.

Before you take this drug
You shouldn't take Flonase Sensitivist if you are sensitive to it.
Fluticasone could reduce your immune system's strength, make it more difficult for you to contract an infection, or worsen an existing infection that you've already experienced. Inform your doctor of any infection or illness you have been suffering from in the last few weeks.
Inform your physician immediately if you have ever suffered from:
- Sores or ulcers in your nose;

- Any kind of disease (bacterial, fungal, or parasitic).
If you are using Flonase Sensimist without a prescription and are suffering from any medical issues, you should ask your doctor or pharmacist if the product is suitable for you. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.
How to take Flonase Sensimist?
Follow all instructions on the prescription label and read the medication guide or instructions sheets. Follow the medication precisely as directed. Don't share this medication with anyone else, even if they suffer from similar symptoms to yours. Your dosage will depend on the brand of fluticasone or strength you are using. Your dose could alter as your symptoms improve. Follow all dosage instructions cautiously. A child who is using the nasal spray must be watched by a parent. Take note of and follow the instructions for use that are included in your medication. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor for clarification if you are unsure of these directions. The nasal spray should be shaken before every use. If you've switched to fluticasone from a different medication for steroid use, do not stop it abruptly. Follow the instructions of your doctor about the process of tapering your dose.
It could take several days before you notice improvement. Continue to take the medication according to instructions, and notify your doctor if you persist after one month of therapy. Keep the Flonase Sensimist container in a cool, dry place far from heat and moisture. The spray bottle should be thrown to the side after using 120 sprays, even though there's still some medicine inside the bottles.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Utilize the medication as soon as you are able, but do not miss any missed doses if you are close to the time for the next dose. Don't take two doses in one go.
What happens if I overdose?
Get medical attention in an emergency or contact for help at the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222. A dose of Flonase Sensitivist that is too high is not likely to cause dangerous symptoms. The long-term use of this medication can cause cataracts, glaucoma, thin skin, easy bruising, changes to body fat (especially around your neck, face back, hips, and waist), as well as an increase in facial hair or acne and menstrual disorders, impotence, or a lack of interest in sexual activity.
What should be avoided?
Do not get the spray in your mouth or eyes. If this happens, you need to wash it off with water. Beware of those with illnesses or suffering from infections. Contact your doctor to get preventive treatment in the event that you have been affected by the chickenpox and measles. These illnesses can be very serious or even fatal for people who use Flonase Sensimist.
Interaction with other drug
