What is DigiFab?
DigiFab is an antidote for a potentially fatal overdose of digoxin or digitoxin. DigiFab is not the best treatment for a minor digitalis overdose. DigiFab could be used for other purposes not covered in this guideline for medication.
Side effects of DigiFab

Warnings

Before you take this drug
If you are able to do so prior to receiving digifab, inform your caregivers whether you suffer from:
- Heart disease;
- Kidney disease;
- An allergy to antibiotics, or
- An allergy or sensitization to the papaya juices (papain, chymopapain) or an allergy to pineapple
