What is Di-Dak Sol?
Di-Dak Sol is an antibacterial medicine prescribed to treat or prevent infections associated with skin ulcers or pressure wounds. Di-Dak Sol may also be utilized in other ways not mentioned within its medication guide.

Signs and symptoms of allergy reactions include hives, difficulty breathing or swelling to lips, face, throat or tongue.

Di-Dak-Sol should be avoided if the user is allergic or sensitive to products containing chlorine (like bleach). FDA pregnancy class CThere is no information on whether Di-Dak Sol can harm an unborn child. If you're pregnant, tell your doctor. It's not known if sodium chlorite topically applied passes through breast milk or if it can harm nursing babies. You should tell your doctor that you are breastfeeding a child.
How to take Di-Dak Sol?
Do not exceed the prescribed dosage or use Di-Dak-Sol for longer than directed by your healthcare provider. Pour or apply this medication directly onto the affected area; apply directly over an ulcer or wound and follow your physician's instructions regarding how long gauze dressings need to remain over wounds soaked with Di-Dak Sol. You can also soak gauze dressings with Di-Dak Sol prior to application if using gauze over wound. Petroleum jelly (valine) around affected skin area(s), in order to block medication reaching healthy areas without harm affecting healthy areas as much. Store at room temperature with tight caps when not in use - to prolong shelf life!
What happens if I miss the dose?
As soon as possible, take your missed dose and if nearly time to take another one skip it altogether; don't use additional medicine in an attempt to make up for missed ones.
