What is Arnuity Ellipta?
Arnuity Ellipta (fluticasone) is a corticosteroid. It prevents the release of chemicals in the body that trigger inflammation.Arnuity Ellipta is used to stop the occurrence of asthma attacks. The medicine is not able to help with an attack of asthma that has already started.Arnuity Ellipta can be used in conjunction with steroid medication to be taken by mouth.Arnuity Ellipta is recommended for use by children and adults who are at least 5 years old. older.
Warnings
Arnuity Ellipta does not work as a treatment for asthma attacks. Seek medical attention when your breathing issues become worse in a short period of time or if you suspect the asthma medication you are taking isn't functioning in the same way.It is not recommended to apply the inhalation powder in case you have an allergy to proteins from milk.
Before you take this drug
It is not recommended to take Arnuity Ellipta if you are sensitive to fluticasone or milk proteins.Don't use Arnuity Ellipta to treat an asthma attack that has already begun.
To ensure that this medication is appropriate for you, tell your physician if you've had any of the following:
- Any type of disease (bacterial or viral)
- Cataracts or glaucoma;
- An infection that is caused by parasites (such as malaria, giardia, and leishmaniasis), hookworm, pinworm, toxoplasmosis, and many more);
- Tuberculosis;
- Eye herpes infection;
- Liver disease;
- Low bone mineral density;
- An immune system that is weak.
Long-term use of steroids could result in the loss of bone (osteoporosis), particularly when you smoke, if you are not active, if you don't have sufficient calcium or vitamin D from your food, and if you have a history of osteoporosis in your family. Consult your physician about the risks.Consult your physician if you are expecting. It isn't known if fluticasone can harm an unborn baby. But asthma that is not treated or controlled during pregnancy could result in complications like preterm birth and eclampsia (dangerously high hypertension), which could cause medical issues for both the baby and the mother. The advantages of treating asthma could outweigh the risk for the baby.It might not be safe to breastfeed when using fluticasone inhalation. Consult your physician about any potential risks.ArnuityEllipta is not a suitable choice for those who are younger than five years old.

How to take Arnuity Ellipta?
Utilize Arnuity Ellipta as directed by your physician.Follow all the instructions on the prescription label. Do not take this medication in greater or lesser quantities or for longer periods than prescribed.Arnuity Ellipta does not work as a cure-all medicine. It is not effective enough to treat asthma attacks. Make sure you use a quick-action inhalation medication for asthma attacks. Consult a doctor if your breathing problems worsen fast or you believe your asthma medication is not effective enough.Check all information about your patient, such as medication guides and instructions sheets that you receive. Consult your physician or pharmacist for any additional concerns.Your dosage requirements might change if you have surgery, are sick, under stress, or recently experienced an attack of asthma. Don't alter the dose of your medication or stop taking Arnuity Ellipta without your doctor's recommendation.Arnuity Ellipta is an inhaler with a powder version of fluticasone. It comes with an inhaler that is loaded with blister packs of dosages of fluticasone that are measured. The device is opened and loaded with one blister of fluticasone each time you make use of the inhaler. The disc device should not be used in conjunction with spacers. Follow the directions for use by your doctor on your medication.To prevent yeast infections, clean your mouth using liquid (do not swallow) following the use of this medication. What happens if I miss the dose?
Don't miss the missed dose, and take your next dosage of Arnuity Ellipta at the time you normally schedule. Don't use any additional medication to make up for the dose you missed.Limit your use to 1 inhalation a day.

Side effects of Arnuity Ellipta

- Low fever, cough, wheezing, chest tightness
- Hoarseness, a deep voice, or a ringing in the throat;
- Sores, white patches in the mouth, or around your lips
- Headaches migraine

Interaction with other drug
