What is Aqua-Ban?

Aqua-Ban is a diuretic (water pill). It is effective by increasing the amount of urine.Aqua-Ban is a treatment for the symptoms of swelling, bloating, feeling of fullness, and other symptoms of increased water weight due to menstrual issues.Aqua-Ban can be used for other purposes that are not covered in this medication guide.

Common negative effects of Aqua-Ban include:

How to take Aqua-Ban?

Don't use in greater quantities, in smaller amounts, or for longer periods than suggested.To get the best results, start taking Aqua-Ban five or six days prior to when you anticipate your menstrual cycle to begin. Continue taking the medication until you experience relief from symptoms or until you stop having menstrual flow.Do not exceed four doses of pamabrom within the span of 24 hours.Drink between 6 and 8 glasses of water daily when you take Aqua-Ban.Aqua-Ban causes you to have more urination than normal. This indicates that the medication is working.Stop taking Aqua-Ban and contact your doctor if you notice that your symptoms persist within 10 days after treatment.Keep the medicine at room temperature, far from heat and moisture. Do not take one capsule from a blister until you are prepared to take the medication.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Because Aqua-Ban is used only when it is needed, it is possible that you are not on a schedule for dosing. If you're following a routine, take the dose you missed as quickly as you can remember. Avoid your missed dose if you are nearing the time for the next scheduled dose.Avoid taking additional medicine in an attempt to replace what has been missed.
