What is West decon m?

Chlorpheniramine and phenyltoloxamine are antihistamines that reduce the effects on the body of the natural chemical histamine. Histamine may cause symptoms such as sneezing and itching. It can also lead to watery eyes and a runny or watery nose.

Phenylephrine shrinks the blood vessels of the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause congestion in the nasal passages.

West-decon m, also known as a combination medication, is used to treat sneezing and other symptoms such as a runny nose or itching caused by allergies. Side effects of West decon m

This medicine can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • If you feel your heart pounding or fluttering, then this is a sign that you are experiencing a cardiac arrest.

  • Tremors, seizure (convulsions);
  • Vision changes, severe dizziness, and feeling like you might pass out.

  • Blurred vision
  • Sleep problems (insomnia);
  • Feeling restless or excited, especially in children

Warnings

You should not take this medication if you've taken an mao inhibitor in the last 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction may occur. Mao inhibitors are isocarboxazid (linezolid), phenelzine (rasagiline), selegiline (selegiline injection), methylene blue injection, and tranylcypromine.

Before you take this drug

If you have taken a mao inhibitor within the last 14 days, do not take this medication. It is possible that a dangerous drug interaction will occur. Mao inhibitors are isocarboxazid (linezolid), methylene blue injection, phenelzine, and selegiline.

Tell your doctor about any of the following to ensure that this medication is safe for you:

  • A blockage of your digestive tract, such as the stomach or intestines;
  • High blood pressure, heart disease, and coronary artery disease

  • Asthma, or A cough with mucus or a cough caused by tobacco smoking
  • Other urination issues or bladder obstruction
  • Pheochromocytoma
  • Overactive thyroid gland;

Fda pregnancy class c there is no information on whether west-decon m can harm an unborn child. You should tell your doctor if you plan to become pregnant while taking this medication.

This medicine may pass into breast milk and harm a nursing infant. Breast milk production can also be affected by decongestants and antihistamines. You should tell your doctor if you're breastfeeding a child.

How to take West decon m?
