Side effects of Visine for contact

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.

If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using Visine for contacts and contact your doctor.

  • After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, or stinging.
  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes

Visine for contacts can cause the following side effects:

  • Mild eye irritation or burning;
  • Itching or redness in your eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

Before you take this drug

Visine for contacts should not be used if you have an allergy to it. This medication will not prevent or treat an eye infection.

If you suspect that you may have an infection, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Visine for Contacts is safe to use.Inform your doctor immediately if you are pregnant or nursing.

How to take Visine for Contacts?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label.Visine for contacts should be used only after washing your hands.

Visine for contacts should not be used. Call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medication has become cloudy or changed color.Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision problems if it is contaminated.

If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while you are using Visine for contacts, call your doctor.Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Visine for contacts can be used as needed. You can skip missed doses if you follow a schedule. Never use two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of ocular moisturizer are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line for immediate medical attention.

What should be avoided?

Blurred vision may occur with contact lenses. Do not drive or do any hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine will affect you.You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Tell your physician all of the medications, both over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements, that you are currently taking.
