Veklury is a prescribed antiviral medication used for the treatment of COVID-19.Veklury consists of ramdev sivir, which is an analog of nucleotides that works by targeting the SARS-cov-2 viral RNA polymerase, which stops the replication of the virus SARS-cov-2 responsible for COVID-19.
What is Veklury?
Veklury is used in the treatment of COVID-19 among adults and children (who have a minimum age of 28 days and older and weigh seven pounds or more) who are admitted to a hospital or who aren't in a hospital but suffer from moderate to mild COVID-19 and are at a high chance of progressing to severe COVID-19. COVID-19 is a virulent infection that is the result of a coronavirus, SARS-cov-2. It is possible to contract COVID-19 by taking in breath-containing droplets that have been exhaled from the person who is infected by COVID-19. It is more likely that this will occur if you are in an intimate relationship with someone suffering from COVID-19.
COVID-19-related illnesses range from mild (including certain cases with no symptoms) to extremely severe, with the possibility of death. Patients with long-term medical conditions such as lung disease, heart disease, or diabetes are more likely to suffer more severe problems and appear to be at a higher risk of being admitted to hospitals by COVID-19.Some symptoms associated with COVID-19 include cough, fever, and breath shortness, which can manifest between 2 and fourteen days following exposure.
