What are Veetids?
Veetids are a class of antibiotics belonging to the penicillin class of drugs. It acts by disrupting the development of the cell wall of the bacteria while it is growing, thereby weakening the cell wall and killing bacteria.
Veetids can treat numerous kinds of infections caused by bacteria, including ear infections.Veetids are also employed for purposes that are not included in this medication guide.
Warnings
Do not take Veetids in case you are sensitive to penicillin V or any other penicillin antibiotics such as amoxicillin (Amoxil), ampicillin (Omnipen, Principen), carbenicillin (Geocillin), dicloxacillin (Dycill, Dynapen), or oxacillin (Bactocill).Before taking Veetids, inform your physician that you are allergic to cephalosporins like Ceclor, Ceftin, Duricef, Keflex, and others, or if you suffer from kidney disease, asthma, or have a history of allergies.
Veetids may reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Efficient, and this could cause pregnancy. Before you take Veetids, consult your physician about whether you are using contraceptives for birth. You should take this medication for the duration prescribed by your physician. The symptoms might improve before the infection is fully taken care of.
Veetids cannot treat a viral infection like the common flu or cold. Don't give Veetids to someone else, even if they suffer from similar symptoms to yours.Diarrhea can be caused by antibiotics, which could be a sign of a new infection. Before you take this drug

- A history of diarrhea triggered by the use of antibiotics
- An allergy history of any kind of allergy
If you suffer from any or all of the above conditions, then you could require a dose adjustment or specialized tests to take Veetids.
FDA classification for pregnancy B This medication isn't expected to cause harm to the unborn child. Consult your physician if you are expecting or planning to become pregnant while taking treatment. Veetids could cause birth control pills to become less effective, which could lead to the birth of a baby. Before you take Veetids, inform your physician that you take contraceptives for birth. Penicillin V may enter the breast milk and cause harm to the nursing infant. Avoid using Veetids without consulting your physician if you are nursing babies.
How to take Veetid?

What happens if I miss the dose?
Make sure to take the missed dose as quickly as you can remember. If it's getting close to time to take your next dose, do not take the missed dose and instead begin taking your medication at the next scheduled time. Avoid taking extra medication to compensate for missing dosages.

The symptoms of an overdose can include agitation, changes in behavior, a rash on the skin that is severe, a decreased urination rate than normal, or experiencing seizures (blackouts or convulsions).
What should be avoided?
The use of antibiotics can trigger diarrhea and could be an indicator of an infection that has just started. If you are experiencing diarrhea that is watery or has blood, consult your doctor. Do not take any medication to treat vomiting unless the doctor instructs you to.
Side effects of Veetid
Contact your doctor immediately in the event that you exhibit any of these symptoms that indicate an allergy reaction. Veetids such as hives; trouble breathing or swelling of your lips, face, and throat. Get your doctor's attention immediately when you notice any of these severe adverse effects:
- Diarrhea that is either watery or bloody
- Chills, fever, and body aches. Symptoms;
- Bleeding or bruising that is an uncommon weakness
- The frequency of urination is lower than usual, or none at all.
- Extreme skin rash, itching, or peeling;
- Arousal, confusion, strange thoughts or behaviors;
- Seizure (blackouts or convulsions).
Less severe Veetid negative impacts are less likely to happen, for example:
- Nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain;
- Vaginal itching or discharge
- Headache;
- Tongue that is swollen, black, and "hairy";
- Thrush (white patches of white) that can be found inside your throat or mouth

What should be avoided?

- Probenecid (Benemid).
