What is Vanicream HC?

Vanicream Hc (for the skin) is a synthetic steroid that is used to combat the inflammation and itching caused by skin diseases that respond to steroid medications.

There are a variety of varieties and brands of hydrocortisone topicals that are available. There aren't all brands included in this leaflet.Vanicream HC can be prescribed for other purposes not mentioned in this medication guide.

Side effects of Vanicream HC

See a doctor immediately. If you are experiencing symptoms that indicate an allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your lips, face, and tongue,

Vanicream HC could cause serious adverse side effects. Contact your physician immediately if you experience:

  • An increase in the severity of your skin conditions;
  • The appearance of redness, warmth, ousting, or severe irritation that occurs on treatment skin
  • High blood sugar: increased thirst, more frequent urine output, dry mouth and breath smell that is fruity
  • Possible signs of absorption of Vanicream HC through your skin include weight gain (especially on your face or upper back of the torso). slower wound healing thin or discolored skin more the amount of body hair on your skin, weakness in muscles sickness, diarrhea and fatigue, mood swings as well as sexual changes.

How to take Vanicream HC?

If you're treating the area of your diaper with plastic, don't use diapers or tight-fitting ones.Stop using hydrocortisone, and consult your doctor if you notice that your symptoms do not improve or if symptoms become worse in the space of seven days.Storage at room temperature is far from heat and moisture. Avoid freezing. Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed when not being used.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Take the medication as quickly as you can; however, avoid the missed dose if you think it is close to time for the next dose. Do not take two doses at once.

What happens if I overdose?

Get medical attention immediately, or contact the poison help line at 1-800-222-1222, in the event that anyone has swallowed the medicine accidentally.

The long-term use or high doses of Vanicream HC may cause thin skin easily bruising, changes in the body's fat (especially around the neck, face back, waist, and face), as well as increased facial hair or acne, menstrual issues, impotence, or a loss of interest in sexual activity.

What should be avoided?

Do not take Vanicream HC for treating any type of skin issue that hasn't been examined by your physician.Do not let Vanicream HC get into the eye. If contact does occur, wash your eyes with water.

Interaction with other drug
