Umbralisib is a treatment for specific types of lymphoma in adults.Umbralisib can be given when the other chemotherapy treatments failed, had no effect, or were discontinued.

Side effects of Umbralisib

Usual Adult Dose for Lymphoma:

800 mg orally every day
Comments:
Patients must be given prophylaxis against Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PJP) in the course of treatment.
Consideration should be made to give antiviral prophylactics during treatment in order to prevent the spread of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infectivity, which includes CMV reactivation.
The treatment should continue until the disease progresses or there is unacceptable toxicity.
Uses:
For treatment of patients in adulthood with marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) who have had at least one anti-CD20-based regimen
For the treatment of adults suffering from relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (FL) with a history of having had at least three previous treatment regimens

Usual Adult Dose for Follicular Lymphoma:

800 mg orally every day
Comments:
Patients should receive treatment for Pneumocystis Jirovecii pneumonia (PJP) while receiving treatment.
It is recommended to give antivirals prophylactically during treatment in order to prevent the spread of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infectivity, which includes CMV reactivation.
The treatment should continue until there is no more toxicity.
