How to take Simeped?

Please follow all instructions listed on the label or specified by your doctor. Take only the prescribed dose of this medication. Simeped is most effective when taken after eating and before bed. The chewable tablet must be chewed before it can be swallowed. Measuring liquid medicine is important. Use the provided dosing device or a dose-measuring tool (not a spoon). Simeped liquid drops may be mixed with water or baby formula to help an infant or child swallow easier. Follow the directions on the label of the medicine when giving simeped to a child. If the child's symptoms of gas do not improve, call your doctor.

Simeped may require you to increase your physical activity or follow a special eating plan. Please follow the instructions from your doctor or dietitian. Learn which foods you should eat and avoid in order to control your condition. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not allow liquid medicines to freeze.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Simeped can be used as needed, and you don't need to follow a schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, do not take any missed dosage. Never take two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention.
