Side effects of Selsun Blue Moisturizing Treatment
See a doctor immediately. If you notice any of the following symptoms, they are warning signs of a reaction: symptoms of hives: breathing difficulties or swelling of your lips, face, and tongue.Stop taking selenium sulfide and consult your doctor if you notice extreme or unusual swelling, itching, dryness, peeling, redness, or irritation to the skin treated.

What should be avoided?
Beware of getting Selsun Blue Moisturizing Treatment within your nose, eyes, mouth, rectum, or vagina. If it does end up in one of these places, wash it off with water. Avoid using Selsun Blue Moisturizing Treatment for dry, sunburned, chapped, or broken skin.
Avoid covering areas of the skin that are treated with synthetic clothing that is tight-fitting and doesn't permit air circulation. Wear loose-fitting clothing made from cotton or various other fibers that are natural until the wound is completely healed.
Interaction with other drugs
Avoid applying other topical medicines in conjunction with Selsun Blue Moisturizing Therapy unless your physician approves. Other skin medicines can alter the absorption or efficacy of topical selenium sulfur.
