Warnings

If you've taken an MAO-inhibitor in the last 14 days (such as isocarboxazid or linezolid) or phenelzine rasagiline, selegiline, or tranylcypromine, do not take this medication.

Before you take this drug

If you've taken MAO inhibitors in the last 14 days, do not take Robafen Cough and Chest Congestion. A dangerous drug interaction may occur. MAO inhibitors are isocarboxazid (linezolid), phenelzine (selegiline), rasagiline (methylene blue injection), and tranylcypromine.

If you suffer from:

  • A cough that produces mucus
  • Asthma, emphysema, or chronic lung disease.

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.This medication may contain phenylalanine.Those living with phenylketonuria should carefully read their medication's labels.

How to take Robafen DM Cough and Chest Congestion?

Follow the directions on the label or from a healthcare professional when using cold and cough medicines, only taking until symptoms have cleared up completely.Follow the directions on the label when giving cough or cold medications to children, never using these products as sleep inducers.Measuring liquid medications accurately is key. Use either the provided dosing device or dose measuring tools (not spoons!) When dosing liquid medication.Before dosing with liquid medication, please shake it gently to disperse particles evenly throughout. This will also provide extra moisture.If your symptoms do not improve within 7 days or if a rash or headaches develops, contact your healthcare provider as soon as possible.Inform the surgeon if you have taken medicine recently or will require any type of surgery in the near future.Store away from direct heat or moisture at room temperature.
