What is Risa-bid?

Risa bid is a naturally occurring bacteria in the body. It can be found in the vagina and intestines. This medicine is used as a "friendly bacteria" or probiotic. Risa bid is used in alternative medicine to treat diarrhea among children who have rotavirus. Risa bid is used in alternative medicine to prevent diarrhea due to antibiotics or other factors such as travel, chemotherapy, or hospitalization. This medicine may also be effective for treating irritable intestinal syndrome and bacterial vaginal infections. It is also possible that it will treat colic among babies, as well as lung infections, skin conditions in children allergic to milk, or other conditions. Risa bid is also used to treat lactose intolerance and crohn’s disease. It can also be used to treat overgrowth of bacteria or yeast infections in the vaginal area caused by antibiotics. Research has shown, however, that risa-bid may not be as effective at treating these conditions. Research has not shown that it is effective in treating other conditions, such as indigestion, urinary infections, intestinal problems for premature babies, high blood cholesterol, lyme, cold sores and acne, cancer, or the common cold. Risa bid may not be effective for treating medical conditions. The fda has not approved the use of this product for medical purposes. This medicine is not intended to replace medication prescribed by your doctor. Risa bid is sold as an herbal supplement. How to take Risa-bid?

Chew the chewable tablet before swallowing it. Use different forms of lactobacillus acidophilus only with medical advice. Combining different formulations increases the chance of an overdose. If the condition that you are treating with risa bid doesn't improve or worsens while using this product, call your doctor. Risa bid should be stored in a tightly sealed container, as indicated on the label. Be wary of heat, moisture and light sources.

What happens if i miss the dose?

If your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose. Risa bid should not be used to make up for a missed dose.

What should be avoided?

Risa bid should not be taken within 2 hours of taking any anti-biotic medication.

Interaction with other drug

Risa bid should only be taken with medical advice when you are taking medications that may weaken your immunity, including:
