What is Rhinaris Mist?

There are several brands and types of sodium chloride nasals available. This leaflet does not list all brands.Rhinaris mist is used for stuffy noses, post-nasal drip, and dryness in your nasal passages. It can also be used to treat nasal irritation due to colds, flu, or allergies.This product is a mild salt solution that has been purified (also known as saline). This product does not contain any medicine or active drug.Rhinaris mist can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Rhinaris Mist

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.You may experience less serious side effects or none at all.There may be other side effects. How to take Rhinaris Mist?

Follow all instructions listed on your label or prescribed by your physician.Follow the directions on the label of this product when giving it to a child.Take it only by mouth. Nasal products should only be used on the nose.Rhinaris mist comes in a variety of forms, including a spray or gel that can be used to rinse the nose.Please read and follow all instructions for use that come with any product. If you don't understand the instructions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.It may be necessary to gently blow your nose prior to using this product.After using the spray bottle, rinse it with hot water. Then dry the tip with a tissue.Some nasal spray bottles deliver the product either as a mist when the bottle is used upright or as a liquid when the bottle is turned upside down.After each use, wipe the tip or nozzle of the bottle with a tissue if directed to do so on the label.If the condition that you are treating with Rhinaris Mist doesn't improve or worsens while using this product, call your doctor.Rhinaris mist should be replaced according to the instructions on the label. After a period of time, you may have to dispose of the container, even if there is still some product inside.Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.Keep the spray canister away from flames or heat. If the canister gets too warm, it may explode. Empty nasal spray canisters should not be punctured or burned.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Rhinaris Mist Nasal is only used as needed. You may not have a regular dosing regimen. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip any missed dose. Never take two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of sodium chloride in the nasal cavity are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the product, seek emergency medical care or call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting rhinaris mist in your eye.Share nasal products only with people you trust. Shared nasal spray containers or applicators that are inserted in the nose may allow infection or disease to spread from person to person.

Interaction with other drug

Rhinaris mist is unlikely to be affected by any other medications you take. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform your healthcare provider about the medicines you take, including prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products.
