What is Refresh Contacts?

Side effects of refresh Contacts

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.

If you experience:

  • After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, stinging, or tingling.
  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes

Refresh contacts can cause the following side effects:

  • Mild eye irritation or burning;
  • Itching or redness in your eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

Refresh contacts should not be used to treat or prevent eye infections.

Before you take this drug

Refresh contacts should not be used if you have an allergy to them. The medicine does not prevent or treat an eye infection.If you suspect that you may have an infection, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether it's safe to use Refresh Contacts.Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.

How to take Refresh Contacts?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label.Before using Refresh Contacts, wash your hands.Refresh Contacts should not be used. Instead, call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medication has become cloudy or changed color.Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision problems if it is contaminated.If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while using Refresh Contacts, call your doctor.Keep away from moisture and heat at room temperature.

What happens if I miss the dose?

When needed, Refresh Contacts can be used. You can skip missed doses if you follow a schedule. Never use two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of ocular moisturizer are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line for immediate medical attention.

What should be avoided?

Blurred vision can occur when using Refresh Contacts. Do not drive or do any hazardous activities until you have determined how the medicine will affect you.You should only use eye drops prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs interact. Tell your doctor all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs and herbal supplements.
