It is believed that the PediaCare Kids Multi-Symptom Cold trademark has been taken off the market within the U.S. If the generic versions of this product are approved by the FDA, there may be similar generic versions available.

What is PediaCare Children's Multi-Symptom Cold?

Dextromethorphan is an effective cough suppressant. It alters the brain's signals, which trigger the cough reflex.

Phenylephrine Phenylephrine is an anti-congestant that reduces the size of the blood vessels that line the nasal passages. The blood vessels that are dilated can cause the nasal passages to become congested (stuffy nostrils).

  • Diarrhea;
  • Dizziness, drowsiness;
  • Sleep problems (insomnia);
  • Being anxious, restless, or even irritable.
