Nasacort Allergy 24/7 Nasal spray includes triamcinolone, a corticosteroid medication that prevents the release of chemicals in the body that can cause inflammation.Nasacort Allergy 24HR can treat nasal sneezing, itching, and a dry or stuffy nose that are caused by allergies that are seasonal or hay fever.
Nasacort Allergy 24HR can also be used to treat conditions that are not mentioned in this guideline.
Warnings
Nasacort Allergy 24HR should not be administered to children younger than 2 years.

Side effects of Nasacort Allergy 24HR
Get immediate medical attention. If you show symptoms of an allergy reaction, Nasacort may help: hives, breathing problems, and swelling of your lips, face, and tongue.

- Fever, chills, body aches, fever, and flu symptoms.
- Nosebleeds

Triamcinolone can affect growth in children. Inform your doctor when your child isn't growing normally during treatment with this drug.

How to Take Nasacort Allergy 24 HR?
Utilize Nasacort exactly as indicated on the label or as directed by your doctor.Do not consume by mouth. Nasacort Allergy 24HR is for use only on your nose.Be sure to read and adhere to any instructions for use that come along with your medication. Consult your physician or pharmacist for clarification if you are unsure of these directions.
Prior to your first use, start the nasal spray pump by spraying the medication through the air until a fine mist forms. In the event that your nasal spray hasn't been used for more than two weeks, begin by spraying the drug through the air until you see a fine mist appear.
Shake the Nasacort nose spray bottle thoroughly prior to every use.
To apply the spray for nasal use:
- Breathe through your nose slowly. Keep your head straight and place the tip of the bottle in your nostril. Close the other nostril with your fingers. Breathe deeply and gently spray the medication through your nose. You can then spray the opposite nostril.
- The typical dose is between 1 and 2 sprays in each nostril each day.
- Don't use your nose to blow for several minutes following the application of the spray to your nose.
- Don't use this nasal spray more than once in the span of 24 hours.
- Maintain the nozzle on the spray bottle for nasal use clean, adhering to the cleaning guidelines provided in your medication.
- In the event that nasal spray hasn't been used for more than two weeks, make sure to spray it one or two times on the tissue.
Stop taking Nasacort Allergy 24HR and call your doctor if you notice that your symptoms persist after seven days of treatment or if you experience an illness that causes a headache, fever, cough, or an itch on your skin.
Don't share the nasal spray you use with another person, or you may transmit disease or germs.
Keep the bottle at room temperature, far from heat and moisture. Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed when not being used.
Details on dosage
Usual Adult Dose of Nasacort Nasal Spray for Allergic Rhinitis:
Nasal aerosol
2 actuations for each nostril every day and may increase in the following 4–7 days, up to 4 actuations per nostril every day, two actuations in each nostril every day, or 1 actuation per each nostril 4 times per day.
Nasal spray:
2 sprays per nostril daily, and titrate until you reach the lowest effective dose after symptoms have been managed. The usual maintenance dose is 1 spray per nostril, once every day.
Nasal spray:
From 2 to 5 years 2 years to 5 years: 1 spray per nostril every day;
From 6 until 11 years of age: one spray into each nostril daily. The maximum dosage is 2 sprays per nostril daily; increase the dose until it is at its lowest once symptoms are under control.
12 years old or over: two sprays into each nostril every day and titrate until you reach the lowest effective dose after symptoms have been under control. The usual maintenance dose is 1 spray per nostril, once every day.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Utilize the medicine as soon as you are able, but do not miss your missed dose if you are nearing the time to take the next dose. Do not take two doses at once.
