What is MetroCream?

Use MetroCream for the Skin to treat lesions of the skin caused by Rosacea. MetroCream can be used in other ways not mentioned in the medication guide.

Side effects of MetroCream

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergy: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling in your lips, face, throat, or tongue

MetroCream can cause severe side effects. If you experience:

  • You may experience numbness or tingling in your feet or hands.
  • MetroCream can cause stinging and burning.

MetroCream's side effects include the following:

  • Burning or stinging
  • Skin redness and irritation
  • Itchy, dry, or scaly skin
  • sore or stuffy throat.

It is unknown whether MetroCream will cause harm to an unborn child. Inform your doctor immediately if you plan to get pregnant.MetroCream should not be used while breastfeeding.MetroCream should not be used by those under the age of 18.

How to take MetroCream?

Read all the instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all the directions. Follow the directions on your prescription label. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. MetroCream should be applied after washing and drying your skin. The medication should be applied in a thin, even layer. Rub it in thoroughly. After using MetroCream, you can apply cosmetics. MetroCream should not be used to treat skin conditions that have not been examined by your physician. Even if you feel better quickly, continue to take this medication for as long as it is prescribed. You can get infections if you skip doses. If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while you are using MetroCream, call your doctor. Keep away from heat or moisture.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are almost due for the next dose, skip the dose that was missed. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?

MetroCream overdoses are not considered dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, seek emergency medical care or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

MetroCream should not be used on the vagina. MetroCream should not be used on the eyes.

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine applied to your skin. Many drugs interact. Inform your health care providers of all the medicines that you take, including prescription medicines and over-the-counter medications.
