How to take Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium carbonate?
Follow the directions on the label or as recommended by your physician.Make sure to shake off the oral suspension (liquid) before you determine a dose. Utilise the dosing syringe that comes with a dosage measuring device (not an ordinary spoon).You should chew the tablet thoroughly before you take it in. Drink approximately 4 inches of water or another liquid.Don't take more than 16 chewable tablets in 24 hours.Don't take more than 8 tablespoons of "regular strength" liquid or 16 teaspoons of "extra strength" liquid in 24 hours.Consult your physician if your symptoms don't improve or if you suffer from acid indigestion that occurs more than two times a week.Take this medication for longer than two weeks unless your doctor instructs you to.Keep it at room temperature, free of heat and moisture.

Usual Adult Dose for Dyspepsia:
ORAL SUSPENSION:
Aluminium hydroxide 95 mg, magnesium carbonate 358 mg/mL, 15–30 mg orally up to four times per day, following meals and at night when needed, or according to the directions.
Maximum dose: 120 mL/day
Aluminium hydroxide 254 mg; magnesium carbonate 237.5 mg/5 mL; 10–20 mg orally up to four times per day, after meals and before bed, according to the need or according to the directions.
Maximum dose: 80 mL/day
TABLETS:
Magnesium carbonate 160 mg 105 mg 2-to-4 tablets taken orally up to 4 times per day, after meals and before bedtime, if needed or according to the directions
Maximum dose: 16 tablets per day.
Time therapy: up to 2 weeks
Note: Patients are advised to refrain from taking tablets whole.

What happens if I miss the dose?
