What is Luradrox?

Luradrox works similarly to the fluid around your joints. This medicine works as a lubricant for the skin, restoring moisture to it and preventing friction.Luradrox is a skin medication used to treat skin lesions such as bedsores, diabetic foot ulcers, and burns. It can also be used for surgical incisions or cuts, abrasions, and other irritations. This skin medication can also be used to treat dry, scaly, or itchy skin.Use Luradrox oral gel to treat mouth sores and other irritation caused by infection, chemotherapy, radiation treatment, or dentistry.Luradrox can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Luradrox topical

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

If you notice any new signs of skin infection, such as:

  • Redness, warmth;
  • Pain, swelling,
  • Open or oozing sores

Luradrox oral cream may cause mild discomfort in the mouth.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to luradrox, then it is best not to use the product.Fda pregnancy class c there is no information on whether luradrox can harm a baby in utero. Luradrox can cause pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if you plan to get pregnant.Sodium-hyaluronate is not known to pass into breast milk or if the topical could harm a baby who is nursing. You should tell your doctor if your baby is breast-fed.

How to take luradrox topical?

Do not alter the instructions on your prescription. Use this medication only as directed. Do not exceed the recommended dosage or use it for longer.

This medicine should not be shared with anyone else, even if the other person has similar symptoms.

Use sodium hylauronate as a skin moisturiser.

  • Before applying luradrox gel, spray, cream, or film, clean and disinfect the area.
  • Use enough medication to completely cover the affected area or the wound.
  • Use luradrox cream, gel, or foam on an open wound. Apply the medication with as little friction as possible.
  • Use a sterile fingercot or rubber glove to prevent contamination of the tube or bottle.
  • Cover the treated area of skin with a sterile dressing or gauze pad, as recommended by your physician.
  • Apply luradrox to the skin 2 or 3 times daily. Please follow your doctor's advice.

How to use luradrox oral gel:

  • Open the gel package and pour all the contents into a glass. Stir the mixture well after adding 1 or 2 teaspoons of water.
  • You can use the gel undiluted if you don't have any water on hand.
  • Rinse thoroughly in your mouth by gargling and swishing the mixture for at least one minute.
  • Before spitting out the medicine, make sure that your teeth, gums, tongue, and cheeks are all well coated.
  • After using the oral gel, avoid eating or drinking for at least one hour.
  • Use luradrox oral gel three times daily. Please follow your doctor's directions.

If your symptoms don't improve or worsen, or if you experience new symptoms, stop using the medicine and contact your doctor.Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. When not in use, keep the tube tightly closed. Oral gels should not be opened until they are needed.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Luradrox is applied as needed, and there may not be a schedule of doses. Use the missed dose immediately if you use the medication regularly. If your next scheduled medication is due shortly, skip any missed ones.You should not take extra medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What happens if I overdose?

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention.

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting Luradrox on your lips or in your mouth. If you do, rinse your mouth with water. Use only the oral gel version of sodium hyaluronate in the mouth.If you accidentally get this medication in your eyes, wash them with water.Avoid using wound disinfectants that contain quarternary ammonium. Only use the wound disinfection method that your doctor has prescribed.

Interaction with other drug

Luradrox applied topically is unlikely to be affected by other drugs that you may take orally or inject. Many drugs interact with each other.Inform all healthcare providers of all the medications, supplements and herbal treatments you are currently taking (this includes vitamins and herbal remedies).
