Before you take this drug
Lemborexant should not be used if:
- Narcolepsy
- Severe liver disease.
Inform your physician of any of the following issues:
- Depression, mental illness, or thoughts of suicide are all examples of depression.
- Addiction to alcohol or drugs;
- Sleep apnea is a breathing problem that occurs during sleep.
- Liver or kidney disease
- Sudden muscle weakness;

How to take Lemborexant?
Read all the instructions on the label of your medication and follow them. Lemborexant should never be used in higher amounts or for a longer period than prescribed. You may need more time to get up, talk, or move when you awaken. After waking up, you may still feel as if you're dreaming.If your insomnia symptoms don't improve or worsen after taking lemborexant for 7–10 nights in a row, call your doctor.Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Track your medication. Be aware of anyone who is misusing your medicine or using it without a valid prescription.
Details on dosage
Usual Adult Dose for Insomnia:
5 mg taken orally at night
Maximum dose: 10 mg once at bedtime
Use: To treat insomnia characterised by difficulty with sleep onset or sleep maintenance.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Lemborexant can be taken at bedtime only if necessary, so you won't miss a dosage. Do not take this medication if you have less than 7 hours of sleep before your next activity.

What should be avoided?

Interaction with other drug
Lemborexant can make you more drowsy. Before taking an opioid, a sleeping tablet, a muscle-relaxing medication, or medicine to treat anxiety or seizures, consult your doctor.It is sometimes not safe to take certain medications together.
