This leaflet does not list all the brands or forms of ocular lubricant.Lacri-Lube S.O.P. Adults can use Lacri-Lube S.O.P. to relieve irritation, burning, and discomfort due to dry eyes.Lacri-Lube S.O.P. This medication guide may be used in other ways not mentioned.

Side effects of Lacri-Lube S.O.P.

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, lips, or throat.

Stop using Lacri-Lube S.O.P. Call your doctor if:

  • After using the medication, you may experience severe eye irritation, burning, or stinging.
  • Eye pain
  • Vision changes

Lacri-Lube S.O.P. Lacri-Lube S.O.P. may cause the following side effects:

  • Mild eye irritation or burning;
  • Itching or redness in your eyes
  • Watery eyes
  • Blurred vision
  • Light sensitivity

There may be other side effects. Call your physician if experiencing side effects; otherwise contact the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088 to report adverse events.

Warnings

Lacri-Lube S.O.P. cannot be used to treat or prevent an eye infection. You should not use Lacri-Lube S.O.P. to treat or prevent eye infections.

Before you take this drug

Lacri-Lube S.O.P. should not be used by anyone who is allergic to it. If you have an allergy to it, do not use the Lacri-Lube S.O.P. This medication will not prevent or treat an eye infection.You should consult your doctor or pharmacist to determine if Lacri-Lube S.O.P. is right for you. If you have any kind of infection, then ask your doctor or pharmacist if it is safe for you to use Lacri-Lube S.O.P.Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or nursing.

How to take Lacri-Lube S.O.P.?

Read all instructions or guides that come with your medication and follow all directions. Follow the directions on the label.Lacri-Lube S.O.P. should be used only after washing your hands.Lacri-Lube S.O.P. should not be used. Call your pharmacist immediately if you notice that the medicine has become cloudy or changed colour.Avoid touching the tip or placing it directly on your eye. The tip of the eye dropper or ointment tube can cause serious vision problems if it is contaminated.If your symptoms don't improve or worsen while using Lacri-Lube S.O.P., call your doctor.Store at room temperature to avoid heat and moisture exposure.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Lacri-Lube S.O.P. Use Lacri-Lube S.O.P. as needed. You should not take any missed doses if you have a regular dosing regimen. Never use two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

Overdoses of ocular moisturiser are not dangerous. If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, call 1-800-222-1222 or the Poison Help Line for immediate medical attention.

What should be avoided?

Interaction with other drug

Other drugs that you take are unlikely to affect the medicine used on your eyes. Many drugs can interact. Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
