Side effects of Idecabtagene vicleucel
Seek immediate medical care if you have any of these symptoms: difficulty breathing, swelling in your face, lips, throat, or tongue.
Cytokine release syndrome (crs) is a serious side effect associated with idecabtagene. If you experience any of the following symptoms, tell your carer immediately: fever; chills; difficulty breathing; severe nausea; and diarrhea. Your carers have medications available to treat crs quickly if it occurs.
Also, notify your carers if you experience any of the following signs: difficulty speaking, memory or thinking problems, confusion, or seizures.
Call your doctor immediately if you:
- Headaches, dizziness, and drowsiness;
- Problems with memory or thinking;
- You may have difficulty understanding or speaking.
- Sleep disorders;
- Seizure;
- Right-sided upper abdominal pain, vomiting, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin or eyes, and feeling unwell

How to take Idecabtagene vicleucel?
Idecabtagene vicleucel can only be obtained at a hospital or clinic that is authorized and administered by specially-trained healthcare professionals.idecabtagene vicleucel is given after a procedure called leukapheresis (loo-kuh-fuh-ree-sis).leukapheresis is the process of collecting some of your own blood through a catheter that's placed in a vein. After receiving idecabtagene vicleucel, you will be closely monitored for at least seven days to ensure you don't have any serious side effects or allergic reactions.to be sure that idecabtagene vicleucel is not causing any harmful effects, you will need to have frequent blood tests.you may be at greater risk of developing cancer if you use idecabtagene. You should discuss this with your doctor. You may require cancer screening tests for the rest of your life.
Idecabtagene vicleucel can cause false positive results in a lab test for hiv (human immunodeficiency). Inform any doctor that treats you about your use of idecabtagene.plan to stay close to the hospital or clinic that you visited where you received your idecabtagene, vicleucel, for at least four weeks. You should not be so far from the hospital that it will take you more than two hours to get back.

What should be avoided?
