What is Gas X Ultra Softgels?

Before you take this drug

Gas-X Ultra Softgels should not be used if you have an allergy to the product. If you have a serious illness, such as a stomach or intestinal disorder (or an allergy to narcotics), or are allergic to narcotics or other drugs, ask your doctor if Gas-X Ultra Softgels is safe to use. Before taking this medication if you are pregnant or nursing, consult with a healthcare provider first. If you suffer from Phenylketonuria (PKU), please check with your healthcare provider prior to using this type of simethicone. If this form may help treat PKU symptoms, talk with them as well before beginning therapy with this form.

How to take Gas-X Ultra Softgels?

Follow all instructions listed on your product label or provided by your healthcare provider. Take only the prescribed dose of this medication. It is best to take Gas-X Softgels after eating and before bedtime. The chewable tablet must be chewed before it can be swallowed. Measuring liquid medicine is important. Use the provided dosing device or a dose-measuring tool (not a spoon). Mix Gas-X ultrasoftgel liquid drops with water, formula, or any other liquid to make it easier for a child or infant to swallow. Follow the directions on the label of the medicine when giving Gas-X to a child. If the child's symptoms don't improve after taking this medicine, contact your pediatrician immediately. Gas-X Ultra Softgels may require you to increase your physical activity or follow a special dietary regimen. Please follow all directions from your doctor or dietitian. Learn which foods you should eat and avoid in order to control your condition. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. The liquid form of the medicine should not be allowed to freeze.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Gas-X Ultra Softgels are used as needed and may not have a schedule. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip any missed dose. Never take two doses in one go.
