What is Four Pain Rx?
Four Pain Rx is a combination of medicines used to temporarily relieve muscle soreness that may be caused by arthritis, strains, backaches, or bruises. Four Pain Rx can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.
Side effects of Four Pain Rx
If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat. If you experience severe blistering, burning, pain, or swelling of the skin after applying this medicine, wash the area and seek medical attention immediately.
This medicine can cause serious side effects. If you experience:
- Pale skin with blue lips
- Headache, confusion;
- Rapid heartbeats.

Warnings
Medications such as this should not be taken if there is an allergy to aspirin or sulfa-containing drugs, including antibiotics.
Before you take this drug
If you have an allergy, do not take this medication.
- Aspirin;
- Sulfa drugs
- Utilize sunscreen and skin care products containing paraaminobenzoic (paba) acid as part of their regimens.
If you have had any of the following:
- Sensitive skin;
- An allergy to chili peppers;
- A blood cell disorder known as methemoglobinemia in you or your family member;
- Heart problems
- Breathing problems
- A genetic enzyme deficiency called glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
Before using this medicine, consult your doctor if you're pregnant or nursing. Avoid applying the medicine in areas where it could come into contact with a baby's mouth. This medicine should not be given to children without consulting a doctor. Four Pain Rx has not been approved for anyone younger than twelve years of age.
How to take Four Pain Rx?
Follow the directions provided on the label or by your physician. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Use only on closed wounds. Do not apply to broken or infected tissue. If you accidentally get this medication in your eyes, nose, mouth, or vaginal rectum, wash with water. After applying the medicine, wash your hands immediately with soap and warm water. This medication may produce a burning sensation when applied.This sensation should lessen with time and regular use. If you experience severe burning, pain, redness, or skin irritations, then seek medical attention immediately. Seek medical attention immediately if you experience severe pain, burning, or irritation of the skin. Before each use, shake the lotion. Avoid covering the treated area with bandages or heating pads, as this can increase the sensation of burning. If your symptoms worsen or your pain doesn't improve after 7 days of using this medication, call your doctor. Use a cotton ball, rubber glove, fingercot or clean tissue when applying medicine so as not to get any on your hands. Store medication at room temperature and away from moisture or warmth; make sure it remains out of reach of both children and animals.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Four Pain Rx can be used as needed. You may not have a schedule. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip any missed dose. Never take two doses in one go. Four Pain RX should not be used more than four times per day.
What happens if I overdose?
Call the Poison Help Line immediately on 1-800-222-1222 if someone has accidentally consumed poison, or seek emergency medical care immediately if someone has accidentally consumed any substance that could potentially poison them.
What should be avoided?
Avoid getting this medicine into your eyes, nose, mouth, genitals, or rectum. Rinse with water if you do. Do not touch these areas until you have washed your hands. Do not use other medications to treat the same areas that you are treating with Four Pain Rx unless you have been told by your doctor.
Interaction with other drug
