Flu can cause other complications, such as ear infections or bronchitis. Influenza is responsible for thousands of deaths and hospitalizations each year. This vaccine will help your body build immunity, but it won't treat an infection that you already have.

Fluzone PF pediatric quadrivalent 2021-2022, redeveloped every year, contains strains of flu virus inactivated or killed that are recommended for the year by public health officials. Fluzone PF pediatric quadrivalent 2021-2022 is an injectable flu shot made of "killed virus." This medicine is available as a nasal spray, which is a "live virus" vaccination. The information in this medication guide is only for the injectable version of this vaccine. Fluzone PF pediatric quadrivalent 2021-2022, like any vaccine, may not protect everyone from disease.
