What is Fluarix PF Quadrivalent 2023-2024?

Influenza (the flu) is a contagious illness caused by a viral infection that can be spread through the air or surfaces. Side effects of Fluarix PF Quadrivalent 2023-2024

If you notice symptoms of an allergic reaction such as hives, difficulty breathing, lip, face or throat swelling or difficulty speaking then seek medical assistance immediately. If you experienced a severe allergic reaction after receiving your initial dose, do not get a booster shot. Keep a record of all your side effects. You will need to inform the vaccine provider of any side effects you experienced after receiving the Fluarix Quadrivalent 2023-2024. Fluarix Quadrivalent 2023-2024 contains "killed" viruses and won't make you sick with the flu virus. You can have flu-like symptoms any time of the year, which may cause other strains.

Fluarix quadrivalent can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

Before you take this drug

This vaccine may not be available to you if you have an allergy to eggs or previous severe reactions to flu vaccines.

If you:

  • A weak immune system, caused by illness or certain medicines.
  • A history of Guillain-Barre syndrome within 6 weeks of receiving the flu vaccine

If you are suffering from a minor cold, it is possible to receive a vaccination. Wait until you are better if you have a severe illness, such as a fever or infection. Inform your vaccine provider if you are pregnant or nursing.
