How to take Flonase Allergy Relief?

Follow the directions on the prescription label and also read all medication guides or instructions sheets. Follow the medication exactly as it is prescribed. Don't share this medication with anyone else, even if they share similar symptoms as you do. The dose you take will be based on the fluticasone brand and strength you are using. Your dose could alter as your symptoms improve. Be sure to follow all dose instructions cautiously. A child who is using the nasal spray must be watched by an adult. Take note of and follow the instructions for use that come with your medication. Talk to your pharmacist or doctor for clarification if you are unsure of these directions. The nasal spray should be shaken before every use.

If you have switched to fluticasone after taking another drug that is a steroid, you should not abruptly stop taking it. Follow your doctor's advice regarding tapering down your dose gradually. It may take a few days before you notice improvement. Use the medication exactly according to the directions, and inform your doctor if you persist after a few days of medication. Keep Flonase Allergy Relief in an upright location with room temperatures and away from heat and moisture. Dispose of the spray bottle empty after you've used 120 sprays, even if there's still medicine inside bottles.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Utilize the medicine as quickly as you can; however, do not miss any missed dosages if you are nearing the time to take the next dose. Don't take two doses in one go.

What happens if I overdose?

For medical emergencies, seek emergency medical attention or contact for help at the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222. An excessive dose of Flonase Allergy Relief is not anticipated to trigger life-threatening symptoms. Steroid use for long periods of time may cause cataracts, glaucoma, and thin facial skin; rapid bruising modifications in the body's fat (especially around the neck, face back, hips, and waist); more facial hair or acne; menstrual disorders; impotence; or a lack of interest in sexual activity.

What should be avoided?

Do not get the spray in your mouth or eyes. If it does happen, you need to wash it off with water. Avoid contact with those with illnesses or who suffer from infections.
