What is Flextra Plus?

Flextra Plus contains a combination of caffeine, acetaminophen, and phenyltoloxamine. Acetaminophen acts as a pain-relieving medication and a fever reducer. Caffeine may help boost the effectiveness of pain-relieving acetaminophen. Phenyltoloxamine, an antihistamine, decreases the effects of the natural chemical histamine that is present in the body. Flextra Plus is used to relieve mild discomfort and pain that is caused by back pain, muscle aches and toothaches, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or the common flu or cold.Flextra Plus may also be employed for other purposes that are not covered in this guideline.

Warnings

Don't consume more Flextra Plus than suggested. A high dose of acetaminophen could harm your liver or even cause death. Consult your doctor immediately when you feel nausea and discomfort in your upper stomach, itching, or a loss of appetite. Black stools, dark urine, and jaundice (yellowing of eyes or skin). In some cases, acetaminophen can cause an extreme skin reaction. Take a break from Flextra Plus and call your doctor right away if you suffer from skin redness or a skin rash that grows and causes peeling and blistering. Acetaminophen can be found in a variety of combinations of medicines. Combining certain medicines can result in excessive amounts of acetaminophen, which could cause an unfatal overdose. Examine the label to find out whether a medication contains acetaminophen or APAP.

Before you take this drug

It is not recommended to make use of Flextra Plus if you are allergic to phenyltoloxamine or acetaminophen. Avoid your missed dosage if it's nearing the time for the next dose scheduled.Avoid taking extra medication to make up for missed doses.

What happens if I overdose?

The first symptoms of an acetaminophen-related overdose are loss of appetite, nausea, as well as stomach pain, vomiting, sweating, weakness, or confusion. Other symptoms could include discomfort in your stomach area, an unpleasant color to your urine, and the appearance of yellowing on your skin or the whites of your eyes.

  • Heartbeat that is fast or rapid;
  • Bleeding or bruising, an uncommon weakness
  • The stool is bloody or tarry and coughs up blood, or it may vomit and resemble coffee grounds.
  • Difficulties swallowing, increased thirst, and urination
  • Abdominal pain or severe diarrhea;
  • Incongruity, ringing ears, hearing issues
  • A lightheaded sensation, similar to when you're about to pass out.
  • Minimal or no urination;
  • Muscle weakness and loss of coordination
  • Nausea and pain in your stomach nausea, burning sensation, and loss of appetite. The dark color of your urine, stools that are clay-colored, and jaundice (yellowing of your eyes or skin).

The most common flextra plus side effects may include:

  • Dizziness, drowsiness, and memory problems;
  • Anxious feeling; sleep issues (insomnia);
  • Dry mouth, blurred vision, or a sore throat
  • Constipation, upset stomach;
  • Minor itching or itchy skin.
