What is Ergoloid Mesylates?

The use of ergoloid mesylates improves cognitive (mental) functioning and self-care in patients with symptoms such as dementia or other conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.Ergoloid mesylates do not cure dementia or any other underlying condition that can lead to a decrease in mental ability.Ergoloid mesylates do not treat dementia related to mental illness or mood disorders.This medication guide does not list all possible uses of ergoloid mesylates.

Side effects of Ergoloid Mesylates

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Before you take this drug

If you are allergic or have any of the following:

  • A history of psychosis or mental illness.

Unknown is whether ergoloid mesylates will harm an unborn child. If you plan to get pregnant or are already pregnant, tell your doctor.It is unknown if ergoloid mesylates pass into breast milk or if they could harm a baby who is nursing. You should tell your doctor if a child is breastfed.

How to take Ergoloid Mesylates?

Take ergoloid mesylates three times daily. Please follow all the instructions on the prescription label. Take this medication only as prescribed. Do not exceed the prescribed dose and extend its use beyond what is advised.You will need to visit your doctor regularly while using ergoloid mesylates. You or your family members should be alert if you experience any changes in mood or symptoms.You may need to wait up to four weeks for your symptoms to begin improving. To get the best results, use the medication exactly as prescribed.If your symptoms persist after three weeks of treatment, call your doctor.Store away from moisture, heat, and light at room temperature.

Adult dose for dementia:

Take 1 mg 3 times daily.

The decision to treat a person with a decline in mental ability that is not well-defined may lead to the absence of underlying conditions that could be reversible or treatable. Before treatment, it is important to rule out delirium due to systemic diseases, primary neurological disorders, and primary mood disturbances.
Continuous clinical evaluation during treatment is required as the patient’s condition can evolve to the point that a specific diagnosis and alternative treatment may be possible.

What happens if I miss the dose?

As soon as you realize, take the missed dose immediately. If your next scheduled dosage is approaching, skip the missed dose. You should not take more medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

Avoid this
