Efgartigimod alfa may cause serious side effects. Consult your doctor immediately in the event that you experience:

How to take Efgartigimod Alfa?

Follow the directions on the prescription label and review all medication guides and instructions sheets. Make sure you use the medication exactly as prescribed.Efgartigimod Alfa injections are made into veins by a medical professional. The efgartigimod Alfa injection is given for one hour every week for four weeks.Doses are determined by weight.  Your dose may change if you gain or lose weight.You will be monitored for a brief period of time to ensure that you don't have the reaction of an allergy.Check that you are up to date on all vaccinations before you begin using efgartigimod.

Details on dosage

Usual Adult Dose for Myasthenia Gravis:

Every Thursday for four weeks, 10 mg/kg IV infusion will be administered every week.If you weigh more than 120 kg, take 1200 mg IV once every week for four weeks.
Comments:
The next treatment cycle should be based on a clinical assessment.
The safety of starting the cycle earlier than 50 days after the date of the first cycle has not been proven.
Assess the necessity of immunizations that are age-appropriate prior to the initiation of therapy.
Use: To treat generalized myasthenia greis in patients with anti- or acetylcholine anti-receptor antibody negatives.
