What is Dermarest Psoriasis Shampoo Plus Conditioner?

Salicylic acid causes the skin's outer layer to peel off. Dermarest Dandruff and Psoriasis shampoo plus conditioner (for skin) are used to treat acne, seborrhea, and psoriasis. It is also effective in removing corns, warts, and calluses. This medication guide does not list all possible uses for Dermarest Psoriasis shampoo and conditioner.

Side effects of Dermarest Psoriasis Shampoo Plus Conditioner

Dermarest Psoriasis Conditioner Plus Shampoo can cause an allergic reaction that is rare but severe. The reactions can occur within minutes of applying the medication, but they may also take a full day to manifest. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using Dermarest Psoriasis Shampoo Plus Conditioner immediately and seek emergency medical attention: Hives, Itching, difficulty breathing, lightheadedness, swelling on your lips, face, tongue, or throat

Stop using Dermarest Psoriasis Hair Shampoo Plus Conditioner immediately and consult your physician if:

  • Severe headache; ringing or buzzing in the ears; hearing problems; mental problems
  • Severe stomach pain that is nausea or diarrhea.
  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Shortness of breath
  • Severe burning, irritation, and/or dryness of the skin.

Some of the common side effects associated with Dermarest Psoriasis Shampoo Plus Conditioner include:

  • Mild skin irritation or rash;
  • Changes in the skin color (usually bleaching)

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Dermarest Psoriasis shampoo plus conditioner, do not use it. When used by a child with influenza symptoms or chickenpox, it can lead to Reye’s syndrome. This is a fatal or serious condition.

If you suffer from:

  • Liver or kidney disease
  • Diabetes;
  • Blood circulation disorders

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing.

How to take Dermarest Psoriasis Shampoo Plus Conditioner?

Dermarest Psoriasis Conditioner Plus Shampoo is available in a variety of forms, including liquids, gels, lotions, creams, ointments, foams, soaps, shampoos, cloth pads, and patches. Follow the instructions on the packaging or those prescribed by your physician. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines must only be applied directly to the skin. Dermarest Psoriasis Conditioner Plus Shampoo can cause an allergic reaction, which is rare but severe. It may also cause skin irritation. As a test dose, apply a small amount to 1 or 2 areas of skin every day. On the fourth day, if you don't have an allergic reaction to the medication, use the full amount prescribed. Shake the medication before using it.Follow all instructions listed on your label.

Dermarest Psoriasis Hair Shampoo Plus Conditioner should not be used to treat conditions that have not been examined by your physician. Your symptoms should resolve themselves within several days; if not or if they worsen further, please reach out for medical attention immediately. Keep this medication in its original container, at room temperature, and away from heat or moisture. The foam canister should be kept away from flames or heat.If the canister becomes overheated, it could explode and create havoc in its path.Empty aerosol canisters should not be punctured or burned.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Dermarest Psoriasis Conditioner Plus Shampoo is applied when necessary. You can skip missed doses if you follow a schedule. Never use more than one dose at a time.

What happens if I overdose?

What should be avoided?

Dermarest Psoriasis Hair Shampoo and Conditioner should not be used on wounds, sunburned or windburned skin, or dry or itchy skin. If this medication gets into your mouth or eyes, rinse with water. The medicine is flammable. Avoid using near-open flames or high temperatures. Before using a styling tool (e.g., a straightening or curling iron), wash your hands to remove the medication. The medicine could ignite, causing your skin to burn. Smoking is not allowed until all the gel on your skin has dried. If your doctor has not prescribed it, do not use other medication on areas that you are treating with Dermarest Psoriasis shampoo plus conditioner.

Interaction with other drug

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, including prescription and over-the-counter medications. Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter and prescription medicines as well as vitamins and herbs.
