What is Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated?

Salicylic acid causes the shedding of outer skin layers. Dermarest Dermatology is used to treat acne, seborrhea, and psoriasis. It can also be used for the removal of corn, warts, and dandruff. Side Effects of Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated

Dermarest psoriasis medication may cause a severe allergic reaction. The reactions can occur within minutes of applying the medication, but they may also take a full day to manifest. If you experience any of the following symptoms, stop using Dermarest Psoriasis Medicine and seek emergency medical attention: hives; itching; difficulty breathing; feeling lightheaded; swelling on your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Stop using Dermarest Psoriasis Medication and contact your doctor immediately if:

  • Severe headache; ringing or buzzing in the ears; hearing problems; mental problems
  • Severe stomach pain with nausea or diarrhea.
  • A feeling of lightheadedness, as if you could pass out.
  • Shortness of breath
  • Severe burning, irritation, and/or dryness of the skin.

Side effects that Dermarest Psoriasis Medicine may cause include:

  • Mild skin irritation or rash;
  • Changes in the skin color (usually bleaching)

Dermarest Psoriasis Medicine can cause an allergic reaction, which is rare but severe. If you experience hives or itching, difficulty breathing, or feeling lightheaded, as well as swelling in your mouth, face, or throat, stop using the medicine immediately and seek emergency medical attention.

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to Dermarest Psoriasis Medicine, then it is best not to use this product.

When used by a child with influenza symptoms or the chicken pox, it can lead to Reye’s syndrome. This is a fatal or serious condition.

If you suffer from:

  • Liver or kidney disease
  • Diabetes;
  • Blood circulation disorders

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing.

How to take Dermarest Psoriasis Medicated?

Dermarest Psoriasis Medication is available in a variety of forms, including liquids, gels, creams, lotions, foams, soaps, shampoos, cloth pads, and skin patches. Follow the instructions on the packaging or those prescribed by your physician. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Dermarest psoriasis medication may cause a serious but rare allergic reaction or severe irritation of the skin. As a test dose, apply a small amount to 1 or 2 areas of skin every day. On the fourth day, if you don't have an allergic reaction to the medication, use the full amount prescribed. Please remember to shake the medication well prior to use and follow all directions on its label. Dermarest Psoriasis Medication should never be used to treat conditions without first consulting with a healthcare provider. Your symptoms should gradually improve within several days; if they worsen instead of improving or remain unchanged after this timeframe, seek medical assistance immediately. Keep this medication at room temperature, away from heat or moisture. Foam canisters should be stored safely away from flames or heat sources to avoid possible explosions; empty aerosol canisters must not be punctured or burnt as these could rupture and explode when too warm.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Dermarest psoriasis medication is taken when necessary. You should not take any doses that you have missed if your regimen is a regular one. Never use more than one dose at a time.

What happens if I overdose?

If anyone accidentally swallows the medication, seek emergency medical care or contact the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Dermarest Psoriasis Medicine should not be used on wounds, sunburned or windburned skin, or dry or itchy skin. If this medication gets into your mouth or eyes, rinse with water. The medicine is flammable. Avoid using near-open flames or high temperatures. Before using a styling tool (such as an iron or curling wand), wash your hands to remove the medication. The medicine could ignite, causing your skin to burn. Smoking is not allowed until all the gel on your skin has dried. If your doctor has not told you otherwise, avoid using any other medication on areas that you are treating with Dermarest Psoriasis Medication.

Interaction with other drug

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking, including prescription and over-the-counter medications. Inform your doctor of all the medications you are taking, including over-the-counter and prescription medicines as well as vitamins and herbs.
