What is Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb?

Cepacol A Sore Throat (for use in the mouth) provides temporary relief for coughs that are associated with a minor irritation, a cold, or a sore throat. This medication can be used by adults and children over 5 years of age. Cepacol Sore Throat Maxi Numb can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, swelling in your face, lips, or throat, or hives. You may experience less serious side effects or none at all. There may be other side effects. Call your physician if experiencing side effects; for FDA reporting purposes contact 1-800-FDA-1088.

Before you take this drug

Cepacol Sore Throttle Max Numb should not be used if you have an allergy to menthol.

Have any of the following symptoms occurred

  • Cough with mucus
  • Cough caused by tobacco, asthma, or emphysema
  • Sore throat and breathing problems lasting more than two days

Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing. Do not administer this medicine to an infant without first consulting their healthcare provider.

How to take Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb?

Follow all instructions outlined on your label or those prescribed by a healthcare provider. Cepacol Sore Throat Max Numb will dissolve in your mouth if you do not chew it. Cepacol Sore Throat Maximum Numb can be used as often as every 2 hours.

If you change the brand, strength, or form of a medicine, your dose requirements may be different. Use the medication exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. If your sore or persistent throat persists for more than two days and you have other symptoms such as a fever or a headache, nausea, vomiting, a skin rash, or swelling, call your doctor. If your cough does not improve within 7 days, stop using the product and contact your doctor. Store at room temperature away from heat and moisture to preserve quality and lifespan of materials.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Cepacol Sore Throat Numb can be used as needed. You should not take any missed doses if you have a regular dosing regimen. Never use two doses in one go.

Call 1-800-222-1222 for poison help or seek immediate medical attention.

What should be avoided?

If your doctor prescribes any restrictions regarding food, beverage, or activity, follow their instructions.
