What is Centany At Kit?

Mupirocin prevents the growth of bacteria on your skin. Centany at kit is used for treating skin infections like impetigo or "staph' infection. Centany at kit can be used in other ways not mentioned in this medication guide.

Side effects of Centany At Kit

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical attention: hives, dizziness, rapid or pounding pulses, wheezing or difficulty breathing, or swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.

Centany at kit can cause serious side effects. Call your doctor immediately if:

  • Severe abdominal pain, diarrhoea, watery or bleeding;
  • If you experience a severe rash or itching on the treated skin, then please contact us.
  • Unusual skin blistering and peelin
  • Any signs of a new infection of the skin

Before you take this drug

If you have an allergy to mupirocin, then the centany at kit is not for you.

The centany at kit should not be used on children without medical advice. The cream is not recommended for children younger than 3 months. Ointment can be used for children as young as two months. This medicine is not known to harm an unborn child. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant. Mupirocin topically is not known to pass into breast milk or if the drug could harm a baby who is nursing. Inform your doctor if you're breastfeeding a child. If you have applied this medicine to the breast or nipple area, make sure that you wash it thoroughly before breastfeeding your baby.

How to take Centany At Kit?

Do not alter the instructions on your prescription. Use this medication only as directed. Do not exceed the prescribed dosage or use it for more than is advised. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Rinse your mouth and eyes with water if you accidentally get this medicine in them. After applying the centany at kit, wash your hands.

Dry and clean the affected area. Apply a small amount using a cotton swab, gauze pad, or other suitable application. Do not spread the centany at kit over large areas. The centany at kit can be applied three times daily for a period of 10 days. Only use a small amount.

Cover the treated area with sterile gauze. Cover the treated areas only with sterile gauze pads. Do not use bandages, plastic wraps, or any other coverings that prevent air circulation. If your symptoms don't improve in 3 to 5 days or if you notice that your skin condition is getting worse, call your doctor.

Do not stop taking the medicine before it is completely cleared. You may experience improvement in your symptoms before the infection has completely resolved. You may increase your chances of a second infection resistant to anti-biotics if you skip doses. Store at room temperature away from moisture or heat, keeping away from direct sunlight or damp areas. What happens if i miss the dose?

As soon as you realize, take the missed dose immediately; otherwise if it's close to time for another dose, skip it altogether and wait a bit before administering your next one. Don't use extra medicine to compensate for a missed dose.

What should be avoided?

Antibiotics can cause diarrhea. This could be an indication of a new illness. Call your doctor if you experience diarrhoea that is bloody or watery. You should only take anti-diarrhoea medication if your doctor has prescribed it. Avoid getting centany at kit in your mouth, eyes, or nose. For the nose, a separate product called mupirocin is available. The centany at kit can only be used on skin. Do not use other medications to treat the same areas that you treated with centany at kit unless you have been prescribed by your doctor.

Interaction with other drug

Mupirocin applied topically is unlikely to be affected by other drugs taken orally or injected. Many drugs interact with each other. Inform all healthcare providers of all the medications and herbal products you take, including over-the-counter and prescribed drugs, vitamins, and herbal products.
