What is Castiva warming?

Capsaicin, the active ingredient that gives chilli peppers their heat, is found in them. Capsaicin can be found in creams and lotions that are used to treat muscle pain or joint discomfort.

When applied to the skin, capsaicin causes a sensation that is similar to heat. This heat activates nerve cells. Capsaicin's heating effect reduces body levels of substance p, an analgesic chemical used for pain transmission.

Castiva warming can be used to temporarily relieve muscle and joint pain due to strains, sprains, or arthritis. It is also effective for backaches. This medicine can also be used to treat pain in people with herpes zoster, or "shingles."

Qutenza is a topical form of capsaicin that must be administered by healthcare providers to relieve herpes-related discomfort as well as nerve pain (peripheral neuropathy) as well as foot nerve discomfort in people living with diabetes. This medication has proven its efficacy for relieving herpes symptoms as well as peripheral neuropathy-induced nerve discomfort in feet of these individuals. Castiva warming can be used in other ways than those listed in the castiva warming guide.
