What is Caldyphen clear?

Caldyphen (for the skin) is a combination medication used to relieve pain and itching from coming into contact with poison ivy or poison oak. Caldyphen clear also helps to dry out minor skin irritations. Caldyphen clear can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of  Caldyphen clear

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat. You may experience less serious side effects or none at all.

Before you take this drug

Caldyphen clear should not be used if you have an allergy to it. Consult your doctor before using caldyphen clear while pregnant or nursing. Without first consulting their doctor, this medication must not be given to children aged two years and under.

How to take Caldyphen clear?

Follow all instructions listed on your label or as given to you by your doctor. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Shake well before use. Before each application, clean the affected area thoroughly with soap and warm water. Apply caldyphen clear to the affected area up to three to four times per day.

Caldyphen clear should be stopped, and you should consult your doctor immediately if symptoms persist or worsen for more than 7 days. Store away from extremes of heat and moisture at room temperature.

What happens if i miss the dose?

If it is close to time for your next scheduled dose, skip any missed ones and wait. Never apply two doses at once.

What happens if i overdose?

Caldyphen a clear overdose is unlikely to be harmful. Should anyone accidentally swallow any medication, seek emergency medical assistance immediately or call poison help immediately at 1-800-222-1222.

What should be avoided?

Caldyphen clear should not be applied to the eyes or mucous tissues.

Interaction with other drug

Any other medicines you take won't interfere with the medicine applied topically. Many drugs interact with each other.inform your healthcare provider of any medications taken, including prescribed and over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, or herbal products.
