What is Calcium phosphate, tribasic?

Calcium phosphate is a mineral used to supplement calcium for people who don't get enough from their diet.Calcium phosphate can be used to treat calcium deficiency that is associated with low calcium levels, parathyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other bone conditions.This medication guide does not list all possible uses of calcium phosphate.

How to take Calcium phosphate, tribasic?

Details on dosage

Adult dose for hypocalcemia:

Take one to two tablets once or twice each day.

Adult dose for osteomalacia:

Take one to two tablets once or twice each day.

Adult dose for osteoporosis:

Take one to two tablets once or twice each day.

Usual Adult Dose for Pseudohypoparathyroidism:

Take one to two tablets once or twice each day.

Adult dose for hypoparathyroidism:

Take one to two tablets once or twice each day.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.

What happens if I overdose?
