How to take Aricept ODT?

Place the tablet in your mouth and let it disintegrate without chewing. Drink several times until the tablet is completely dissolving. Once the tablet is completely dissolved, drink a glass of water.If you require a surgical or dental procedure, inform the dentist or surgeon prior to the time you're using Aricept ODT. It is possible that you will need to discontinue using the medicine for a short period of time.It is not recommended to stop taking Aricept ODT without a doctor's guidance.Keep it at room temperature, free of heat and moisture.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Do not miss the missed dose, and take the next dose at your regular time. Don't take two doses at the same time.If you have missed your doses for more than seven consecutive days, consult your physician prior to starting the medication next time.

What happens if I overdose?

For medical emergencies, seek emergency medical attention or contact the Poison Help Line toll-free at 1-800-222-1222.The signs of a drug overdose could include extreme nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, sweating, blurred vision, feeling lightheaded, a slow heartbeat, and shallow breathing. It can also cause muscle weakness, feeling faint, or seizures (convulsions).

What should be avoided?

Avoid driving and other hazardous activities until you are aware of the effects of Aricept ODT on your health. The way you react could be affected.

Interaction with other drug

Consult your physician before taking a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAID) like Ibuprofen, aspirin (Advil, Motrin), naproxen (Aleve), celecoxib (Celebrex), diclofenac, indomethacin, and meloxicam, among others. Utilising an NSAID that contains Aricept ODT can increase the risk of stomach ulcers.Other medications could impact Aricept ODT, such as prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal products. Inform your physician about all the medicines you are currently taking and any medication you begin or stop taking.
