What is Aquanil HC?
Aquanil (for the skin) is a steroid that is used to reduce irritation and itching caused by skin disorders that respond to steroid medications.There are a variety of varieties and brands of hydrocortisone topicals that are available. There aren't all brands included in this leaflet.Aquanil HC can be used for other purposes not mentioned in this medication guide.
Side effects of Aquanil HC

- Possible signs of absorption of aquanil hc through your skin: weight growth (especially in your face, the upper part of your back, or the torso) slow healing of a wound, thinning or discoloured skin an increase in muscle weakness, sickness, diarrhoea, fatigue, mood changes, and sexual changes.

Before you take this drug
Do not take Aquanil HC if you are allergic to it.

Steroid medications can raise levels of sugar in urine or blood. How to take Aquanil HC?
Follow exactly the instructions on the label or as directed by your doctor.Do not chew it. Covering the area treated can boost the quantity of medication that is absorbed by your skin and can cause negative side effects.Shake the hydrocortisone cream in addition to spaying thoroughly prior to every use.If you're dealing with the area around your diaper, be sure not to use disposable pants or diapers that are tight-fitting.Stop taking hydrocortisone, and consult your doctor if you notice that your symptoms don't improve or if symptoms become worse in the space of seven days.Always store at room temperature, with minimal exposure to heat or moisture. Don't freeze. Make sure the bottle is tightly sealed when not being used.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Take the medication as quickly as you can; however, do not take the missed dose if you think it is close to time for the next dose. Don't apply two doses at once.
What happens if I overdose?
In case of accidental overdosage of medicine, seek medical assistance immediately or contact the poison help line at 1-800-222-1222 immediately for advice and treatment.Long-term or high-dose usage of Aquanil HC may cause the skin to become thinner, bruising easily, changes in the body's fat (especially around the neck, face, back, waist, and face), a rise in facial hair or acne, menstrual issues, impotence, or a loss of desire to have sexual activity.
What should be avoided?
Don't make use of the product Aquanil HC for treating any type of skin issue that hasn't been examined by your physician.Do not take care not to get Aquanil HC into your eye. If contact does occur, wash your eyes with water.
Interaction with other drug
