What is Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel?
Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel is an antifungal medicine. It stops fungus from developing on your skin.Zeasorb-AF Drying gel (for the skin) is used to treat skin ailments such as athlete's foot, jock itch, tinea versicolor (a fungal infection that causes discoloration of the skin), and yeast infections that affect the skin.
Zeasorb-AF Drying gel can be used to treat conditions that aren't mentioned in this guideline.
Side effects of Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel
See a doctor immediately. Get medical attention immediately if you notice symptoms that indicate an allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of your lips, face, and tongue.
Zeasorb-AF Drying gel can cause serious adverse side effects. Stop using Zeasorb Drying Gel immediately and contact your physician right away in the event of:
- Severe redness, blisters, or irritation to the treated skin.
Common adverse effects of Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel could include:
- Itching or peeling of dry skin.
While the chance of experiencing adverse side effects can be very low in the event that the Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel is applied to the skin, some side effects can arise if medication is absorbed into your bloodstream, such as:

How to take Zeasorb Drying Gel?
Follow the directions on the label or as recommended by your physician. Don't use in greater quantities, in smaller amounts, or for a longer period than is recommended.Do not consume by mouth. Zeasorb-AF Drying Gel is for application only to the skin. It is not recommended to apply this product to wounds that are open.Zeasorb-AF Drying gel is not suitable for use in the vagina or rectum.Cleanse your hands prior to and after taking the medication, except if treating a skin problem in your hands.
Dry and clean the area affected. Apply the lotion, cream spray, or powder at least twice a day according to directions for 2–4 weeks.Don't cover the treated skin area unless the doctor advises you to. A cotton gauze or light dressing could be used to shield clothes.
Make sure to take this medication for the time period prescribed. Your symptoms could worsen even before your disease is fully cleared. The absence of doses can increase your chance of developing a new infection that is intolerant to antifungal medicines.Consult your physician. If the infection doesn't disappear in two days (or four weeks for athletes' feet) or if you notice that it is beginning to get worse.Keep the tube at room temperature, free of heat and moisture. Make sure the tube is tightly sealed when not in use.
What happens If I miss a dose?
Do the missed dose immediately after you remember. Do not take any missed doses if you are nearing the time for the next dose. Don't use any extra medication to replace the missed dose.

What should be avoided?
Do not get this medication in your nose, eyes, or mouth.Do not wear tight-fitting synthetic clothes that don't let air circulate. Wear loose-fitting clothes made of cotton or various natural fibers until the healing process is complete.
Interaction with other drugs
It's not likely that other drugs you consume in the form of injections or orally can affect miconazole that is applied topically. However, many drugs interact with each other. Be sure to inform your health professionals about the medicines you take, which include prescription and non-prescription drugs, vitamins, and herbal remedies.
