What is Magnevist?
Magnevist is an agent for contrast that has magnetic properties. It is employed in conjunction with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to allow organs, blood vessels, and other non-bony tissue to be more easily seen in the MRI. Magnevist is used to diagnose specific disorders of the blood vessels, the brain, and the spin (central nervous system). Magnevist can also be used for reasons not mentioned in this guideline for medication.
