What is Caltrate 600 +D?
Calcium is an essential mineral for the body's many functions, including bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D aids the body in absorbing calcium. Caltrate600 + D is used for treating or preventing a calcium deficiency.

Side effects of Caltrate 600 +D
If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat.
If you notice any of the following signs that your body has too much calcium, call your doctor immediately.
- Nausea, vomiting, constipation;
- Increased thirst or urination
- Muscle weakness and bone pain
- Feeling tired, confused, or lacking energy?
Caltrate 600+D may cause the following side effects:
- Irregular heartbeat
- Weakness, drowsiness, headache;
- Dry lips or metallic taste in the mouth
- Muscle or bone pain

- Parathyroid disorder.

How to take Caltrate 600+D?
Do not exceed the recommended dosage or duration. Use the recommended dose and do not exceed it.
You can check the label to determine if you should take your Caltrate 600+D product with or without food. Take the tablet along with a glass of water. Chew the chewable tablet before swallowing it. No longer chew or crush the extended-release tablets. Take it as a whole.
Calcium and vitamin D are only two parts of an overall treatment programme that includes diet changes. Find out which foods contain vitamin D and calcium. As you change your diet, it is possible that the dosage of your supplement will need to be adjusted. You should follow your doctor's advice. Store away from heat and moisture at room temperature.
What happens if I miss the dose?
If you are almost due for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take two doses of the same medicine at once.
