What is Lomaira?

Lomaira has similar effects to amphétamine. The central nervous system is stimulated by this medicine. This increases blood pressure, heart rate, and appetite.Lomaira, in conjunction with diet and physical activity, is prescribed to people who have obesity or other risk factors, such as hypertension, elevated cholesterol, or diabetes.Lomaira can be used in other ways not mentioned in the medication guide.

Side effects of Lomaira

Seek immediate medical care if you have difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Lomaira may cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • Even mild exercise can cause you to feel short of breath.
  • Chest pain, feeling like you might pass out;
  • You may experience swelling in your feet or ankles.
  • If you feel your heart flutter or beat fast, this is a sign that something is wrong.
  • Tremors, feeling restless, trouble sleeping;
  • Unusual changes in behaviour or mood
  • Increased blood pressure; severe headache; blurred vision; or pounding of the neck and ears Anxiety. Nosebleed.

Lomaira side effects may include:

  • Itching;
  • Dizziness, headache;
  • Dry mouth, unpleasant taste
  • Diarrhoea, constipation, stomach pain,
  • Increased or decreased interest in sex.

Warnings

Lomaira should be avoided if you suffer from glaucoma or other conditions such as an overactive thyroid gland, heart disease, high blood pressure that is uncontrolled, advanced cardiovascular artery diseases, and extreme anxiety.If you've taken an MAO inhibitor in the last 14 days (such as isocarboxazid or linezolid), this medication should not be used.

Before you take this drug

Lomaira should not be used if:

  • A history of heart disease (coronary heart disease, problems with heart rhythm, congestive heart failure, and stroke);
  • Uncontrolled high blood pressure or severe hypertension;
  • Overactive thyroid
  • Glaucoma;
  • Extreme agitation, or nervousness.
  • A history of substance abuse
  • If you are taking other diet pills,

Lomaira should not be used if an MAO inhibitor has been taken in the last 14 days. A harmful drug-drug interaction may occur. The MAO inhibitors are isocarboxazid (linezolid), methylene blue injection, phenelzine rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and many others.Even if you're obese, weight loss can be harmful to an unborn child. Lomaira should not be used if pregnant. If you get pregnant while taking the drug, tell your doctor immediately.

Lomaira should not be used while breastfeeding.

If you've ever:

  • Heart disease, coronary artery diseases;
  • A heart valve disorder;
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes (you may need to adjust your diabetes medication dosage);
  • Kidney disease is a serious condition

Lomaira should not be used by those under 16 years of age.

How to take Lomaira?

Follow the instructions in the guide or instruction manual that comes with the medication.Sometimes, your doctor will change the dose. Take the medicine exactly as directed.Lomaira can be taken either before or after breakfast. Dosage instructions should be followed very closely.Do not use Lomaira for longer or in higher doses than recommended. This can have serious and life-threatening effects.Lomaira should only be used for a short time. After a few months, the effects of the appetite suppressant may fade.Lomaira can be addictive. Lomaira misuse can lead to addiction, death, and overdose. It is illegal to sell or give away Lomaira.If you feel that this medication isn't working well or you don't lose at least four pounds in four weeks, call your doctor immediately.You may experience unpleasant withdrawal symptoms if you suddenly stop taking Lomaira. You should ask your doctor about how you can safely discontinue this medication.Keep the bottle at room temperature, away from heat and moisture. When not in use, keep the bottle closed tightly.

What happens if I miss the dose?

If it's late, skip the dose you missed. Take only one dose at a time.

What happens if I overdose?

Call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222 or seek emergency medical care. A Lomaira overdose can lead to death.The symptoms of an overdose may include confusion, anxiety, restlessness, nausea, and vomiting. Other symptoms can be stomach cramps or fatigue, depression, seizures, slow or irregular breathing, heart palpitations, or a weak pulse.

What should be avoided?

Do not drive or engage in hazardous activities until you have a better understanding of how Lomaira affects you. You may be unable to react.Alcohol consumption can have side effects when taken with this medication.

Interaction with other drug

Lomaira taken with diet drugs such as fenfluramine or redux (dexfenfluramine) may cause a fatal lung condition called pulmonary hypertension. This medicine should not be taken with other diet medications without consulting your doctor.Lomaira can be affected by many drugs. These include prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal medicines. This list does not include all interactions. Inform your doctor of all medications you are currently taking and those that you will stop or start using.
