What is Vazalore?
Vazalore is a salicylate (sa-LIS-il-ate), which helps to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.Vazalore is often used to treat and help prevent heart attacks, strokes, or chest discomfort (angina). The medicine should be utilized to treat these ailments in conjunction with a physician.Vazalore can be used for other purposes not covered in this guideline for medication.
Side effects of Vazalore
Contact a medical professional immediately. If you are experiencing symptoms warning signs of an allergic response, such as hives, difficulty breathing, and swelling of your lips, face, or tongue,
Vazalore may cause serious side effects. Take a break from Vazalore and consult your physician immediately if you experience:
- Ringing in your ears the eardrums; confusion; hallucinations; fast breathing; seizures (convulsions);
- Severe nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain;
- Bloody or tarry stool and coughing blood; or vomit that resembles coffee grounds
- Fever lasts more than 3 days.
- Swelling, or pain that lasts more than 10 days.
Common adverse effects of Vazalore can include:
- An upset stomach, heartburn;
- Drowsiness;
- Mild headache that is mild.

Warnings
Vazalore could cause Reye's syndrome, a severe and often fatal disease in children.
Before you take this drug
Utilizing Vazalore in the case of a teenager or child suffering from influenza manifestations and chickenpox can lead to an extremely fatal condition known as Reye's syndrome.
It is not recommended to use Vazalore if there is an allergy to the drug or if you suffer from:
- Recent experience of bleeding from the stomach or in the intestines;
- A blood disorder like hemophilia
- If you've had the experience of having an asthma attack or an allergic reaction that was severe after the use of Vazalore or any NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication),
Speak to your doctor if you were ever diagnosed with:
- Allergic asthma, or other seasonal conditions
- Stomach ulcers;
- Liver disease;
- Kidney disease;
- A bleeding or blood clotting disorder;
- Gout
- The heart, high blood pressure, as well as congestive heart failure.
The use of Vazalore in late pregnancy can cause bleeding, either in the mother or the baby during the birth. Tell your doctor whether you are expecting or planning to be pregnant.It is not recommended to breastfeed when using Vazalore.
How to take Vazalore?
Follow the directions on the label or as recommended by your physician.Always follow the instructions on the medication label regarding the administration of Vazalore to children.Take it with food. If Vazalore can cause stomach upsets,You should chew the tablet before swallowing it.
Do not crush, chew, break, or open an enteric-coated or delayed/extended-release pill. Take it in its entirety.Speak to your doctor if you are scheduled for a procedure.Place it in a cool, dry place far from heat and moisture.Don't use Vazalore in the event that you detect an odor of vinegar that is strong within the bottle of this medicine. The medicine might no longer be efficient.
What happens if I miss the dose?
Vazalore can be used as required. If you're following a prescribed dosage schedule, you should skip missed doses. Do not take two doses at the same time.
What happens if I overdose?
Get medical attention in an emergency or contact the Poison Help Line toll-free at 1-800-222-1222.
An overdose could cause stomach discomfort, nausea, diarrhea, hearing or vision issues, slow or fast breathing, or confusion.
What should be avoided?
Avoid alcohol. Drinking heavily can increase the chance of bleeding from your stomach.Beware of taking Ibuprofen when you are taking Vazalore to avoid heart attacks as well as coronary heart attacks. Ibuprofen could make this medication less efficient at protecting your blood vessels and heart. Consult your physician about the distance between the doses you should take.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist prior to taking other medicines to treat swelling, fever, pain, and symptoms of the cold or flu. These medicines may contain ingredients that are similar to Vazalore (such as magnesium salicylate, Ibuprofen, magnesium salicylate, ketoprofen, and naproxen).
Interaction with other drug
Talk to your doctor prior to taking Vazalore when you are taking medication for depression. Taking certain antidepressants in combination with this medication could cause bleeding or bruises.
Speak with a pharmacist or doctor before taking Vazalore alongside any other medication, including:
- A blood thinner (Warfarin, Coumadin, Jantoven) or any other medication that helps prevent blood clots;
- Other salicylates include Nuprin Backache Caplet, Kaopectate, kneerelief, Pamprin Cramp Formula, Pepto-Bismol, Tricosal, Trilisate, and others.
