How to take Vantas?

Vantas is available as an implant that is tiny and placed under the skin inside your arm's upper. It is implanted by undergoing a minor surgery at a doctor's clinic or office. It is best to put the implant inside the arm that is not your dominant arm (your left arm if you have a right hand). Be sure to inform your physician which arm you use the most often.

As you lie on your back, your hand will be placed on your back with your elbow bent and kept still as the implant is placed. The upper skin of your arm is treated using a numbing agent to keep the patient from experiencing discomfort during the procedure. After your arm has been anemic, your physician will employ a scalpel to make a small cut to allow the implant to be placed.

The Vantas implant is inserted with an instrument specially designed to push the implant through an incision within the skin. Following the injection and then removing the tool for insertion, the doctor will examine your arm to make sure that the implant was properly put in place. The skin incision could be closed using a surgical strip or stitches. Follow the instructions of your physician for treating the wound, and keep it covered and clean until the wound heals completely. Maintain your arm's dryness for at least 24 hours.

It is likely that you will be in a position to feel the implant under your skin; however, it shouldn't cause discomfort or pain. The Vantas implant is typically placed in the place for a year and must then be removed by a surgical incision. Do not attempt the removal of the implant by yourself. Your physician will determine if you require a second implant for continuing treatment.

Contact your physician if you are experiencing any swelling, pain or tenderness, itching, bleeding, tingling, or redness at the site where the implant was placed, as well as if your implant falls through your skin or is removed.

To make sure that the medication will help the condition you are suffering from, it could require regular blood tests. The results of your blood tests will allow your doctor to determine how long you should be treated with Vantas.Histrelin can produce unusual results when testing for certain medical conditions. Be sure to inform any doctor treating you about the use of this medication.
